本校將於四月三日（本學期結束日）舉辦「家長與班教師面談」，屆時家長可與教師交流有關貴子弟學習中文的事項。　希望各家長踴躍參加。

家長請於當天下午到貴子弟的教室依次與老師面談，時間如下：
　　基礎班　及　初級班（一） 下午三時開始　
　　其他班級 下午三時三十分開始

第三學期將於二零一一年五月八日開課。
第三學期上課時間表 (Summer term):
　　開學日：二零一一年五月　　八日 (08/05/2011 Summer Term starts at 2 pm)
　　期中假：五月二十九日 (29/05/2011 Half term – school closes)
學期結束日：七月 十日 (10/07/2011 Term end)

Dear Parents and Carers

You are invited to attend our Consultation Meetings on 3rd April (last day of Spring Term). Parents and carers will meet with the class teacher(s) to discuss your child(ren)’s progress and future targets.

Appointments will be on a first come first serve basis. Meetings for Foundation Stage and Year 1 classes are from 3.00 pm. All other classes are from 3.30 pm.

Please be reminded that school will reopen on Sunday 8th May 2011 (please see term dates for Summer Term listed as above).

Bitish Museum Sunday 27th February

We have received the following message from the British Museum. If you are interested in getting tickets please contact Mr Huang:

"Dear Supplementary Schools

We are delighted to invite you to the Community Preview of Afghanistan: Crossroads of the Ancient World at the British Museum, on Sunday 27th February 2011. The exhibition preview will take place between 11 – 1pm, and all supplementary school groups who wish to bring students to view the exhibition are welcome.

The Community Preview is a ticketed event; tickets are limited and sent out on a first come first served basis. To book free tickets for your group please email qc.huang@virgin.net asap with the number of tickets you require.

Kite Making Activity – Great Court, 12 – 2pm
Take part in a creative kite making and decorating activity. Using traditional colours and Afghan patterns decorate your very own kite and explore the history and significance of this popular Afghani pastime."

Taiwan in The Guardian

Saw this in The Guardian newspaper today http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/aug/08/taiwan-launches-gasto-diplomacy-drive - I'm sure many of you can think of Taiwan delicacies that should be sold over here. I certainly think there should be more places selling Niu Rou Mien :)

Travel Agent

http://www.ourstravel.com/new/ - I've never used them but lots of Taiwanese seem to. At the time of writing they have flights with Eva Air to Taipei for £525 inc tax. (Someone told me that "OursTravel have cheap tickets but service is awful when things go wrong.")
